Why did I start TrueAnt? I guess in a simple word the answer is fees
I have been buying & selling items online for the past 8 years. I like everybody else I used the known website at that time & most times I found competing with the fees they charge was the biggest setback.
Many times in order to keep the listing fees down I needed to set my starting price at less than what I wanted & hope the bids would reach a better price to cover the fees that were coming but I had no idea of what the exact cost was going to be. Remember I have Re-listing Fee, After Sale Fee & any other fees they could think of & some of these fees work of a % of sale price & it could be months before you find a buyer at the price you want.
I could never really work out how a seller who somehow starts an item at 99cents can have it climb to the price they want with bids from people who never seem to win. This never happened to me.
So in 2008 I had enough & decided I would start my own selling site to see if this would make it cheaper to display my items for sale. Well as it turns out it did make it cheaper for me & so I thought I should open it up for all to use & in January 2009 TrueAnt was opened to the public.
I have tried to cut out as many fees as possible as you will see when you start selling & remember I am always there to offer live.

TrueAnt intends to remain Australian Owned & Operated offering fewer fees & personal service. In the near future my children will be more involved to ensure the principals & service I started remains updated.
